France High Performance Academy football tryout 2025
2 and 5-day programmes for boys between 12 and 18 years of age who want to try out at a high-performance academy and make the leap to professional football.
They join the training sessions of the academy’s annual team, with about 3 hours of training per day, and they also attend academic lessons. During this period, the academy’s coaching staff will analyse each student to determine if they are skilled enough and have the right attitude to be selected for a long-term training programme.

This is a tryout programme to become part of the academy’s annual training team – it is not a direct tryout for a professional football team. It is designed for players who are looking to improve their athletic performance in order to reach the competition level required to make the leap to professional football.
The most prominent students from the academy’s annual programme will have the chance to attend tryouts with professional or semi-professional football teams, but this will only happen once the training staff deem that they have all the necessary technical and physical skills and are mature enough to take the leap into a career in professional football.

About the Academy
The academy is located in the city of Evian, in French territory but very close to Geneva, Switzerland. Its mission is to prepare talented international players to compete at the highest level and provide its most prominent students with recruitment opportunities from football clubs in Europe and the rest of the world.
The academy has its own football club, Thonon Evian Grand Genève FC, which competes in the professional national divisions of the FFF (French Football Federation) and has over one thousand enrolled players, both in the youth and adult categories.
Training Programme
In this programme, students get to experience what it is like to be part of the academy.
They join the training sessions of the academy’s annual team, with about 3 hours of training per day, and they also attend academic lessons. During this period, the academy’s coaching staff will analyse each student to determine if they are skilled enough and have the right attitude to be selected for a long-term training programme.
Training includes both technical and tactical sessions, as well as physical conditioning sessions at the gym, video analysis, and/or meetings with the academy’s sports psychologist.
Those who choose the 5-day package will also receive a comprehensive performance report from the academy’s technical staff.

Training Facilities
The academy’s sports facilities include several natural grass football pitches, big changing rooms, a gymnasium (featuring cardio, strength, recovery, and spa equipment), a video-analysis room, and a physiotherapy room.

Accommodation
The academy is a vast, 2-hectare private venue that features modern first-class facilities, including student dormitories, classrooms, recreational rooms, break rooms, a restaurant, and full sports facilities.
Students stay in double rooms with Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Laundry and housekeeping services are included. Bathrooms are shared (individual showers).

The official rate of this program is determined in EUROS so the final amount in other currencies may vary slightly due to currency fluctuation.
Starting Dates
From 1 September until 30 June.
During summer, the academy offers a camp which also serves as a tryout to gain access to a long-term program.
