Travel Insurance – Coverages

At Ertheo, we offer travel insurance through a specialized international company. This insurance is highly recommended for participants who do not have private medical insurance and plan to attend a camp abroad. It‘s also recommended for those participants who wish to be covered in the event that certain unfortunate circumstances occur during the length of the course or during the arrival or departure from the camp or the academy.

Travel Medical Insurance
This insurance covers the participant if they contract an illness or disease while they are abroad. The covered individual will be reimbursed for any medical expenses paid due to illness or injury during the insured period. These include, for example, hospital treatment and medication.

Travel Accident Insurance
This insurance covers the participant in the event that they suffer permanent injuries caused by an accident. We will pay a single amount (disability compensation).

Civil Liability Travel Insurance
Under this insurance, the participant will be covered against damages caused by dangers in their daily life for which they are responsible and must therefore remunerate other for.

Emergency Insurance
With emergency insurance, the participant will also receive assistance in case of emergency (e.g. medical repatriation, visit of bedside, repatriation of mortal remains or funeral costs).

Return Travel Emergency Insurance
With this insurance, the cost of a return trip due to an emergency will be covered so that the insured individual may visit a severely sick or dying family member. Travel Luggage Insurance
The Travel Luggage Insurance covers the loss or damage to checked luggage and losses or damages to luggage due to theft, fire, or forces of nature.
