The golf training programs have been designed by PGA professionals and the English classes are taught by qualified teachers with the objective of getting the children to earn confidence and fluency in this language. In addition the children perform many other leisure activities and excursions. At all times they are supervised by the excellent staff that lives at the camp during the kids’stay to ensure their safety and care. 25 years of experience guarantee this camp as a great option to choose for the school holidays of your child.

There are courses for all types of golf levels. The standard (for children ages 10 to 16 years), is intended for children from beginner up to intermediate advanced level.

For children 12 to 16 years who wish to focus only on golf course in an intensive manner and not to take English classes the golf Academy program and the Pro Golf Academy program (only for those who have a handicap of 20 or less) are available.

Training

The kids receive 3 hours of daily training from Monday to Friday. The training program has been designed by PGA professionals for students to develop their abilities to the fullest. This program is adapted for children with different levels, from beginner to intermediate advanced. Each coach is responsible for a group of between 6 to 10 kids.

The training focuses on all aspects of the technical part (long and short game, bunker, putt, etc.).

In addition, they will work to improve their mental attitude to get the most out of the technique learned in this highly competitive sport.

High performance program (Golf Academy): the students who want to take an intensive golf course and do not want English classes, may opt for this type of more specific training that involves 6 hours of daily training during the week where, in addition to perfecting the physical and mental technique, they will perform a thorough analysis to improve their swing.

Groups of 6 to 10 students per each coach are organized and it is aimed at kids from intermediate to advanced level.

In addition to playing at the camp’s 9-hole golf course, they can play on several occasions at local 18-hole golf courses, suitable to their handicap.

Within this program there is a specific course called Pro golf academy dedicated to students with a handicap of 20 or less.

The kids will receive 15 hours of class per week (3 hours daily from Monday to Friday). First they will take a level test to be sure that each child is placed at his/her appropriate level.

There are 6 different levels from beginner (A1), to advanced (C2).

The main objective of the classes is to ensure that the children gain confidence when speaking English and, therefore, also advance in its compression. Also they will learn things about the English culture. The children are at all times in contact with the language since all the camp activities are conducted in English and they also communicate in this language with their peers from other nationalities.

The camp has a head of studies who is in charge of developing a teaching program that is tailored to the needs of the students from the camp.

The classes are small (maximum 15 students per class) and the teachers are well prepared to teach the classes, motivating the students so that everyone can participate and have fun learning.

They will learn how to make presentations, gaining confidence and fluency, in addition to weekly work.

Each week a test is performed to verify the progress made by students and at the end of the camp they will be awarded with a certificate with the level reached.

Camp Schedule

Activities

Exsportise has an activities program specifically designed so that the children can be busy throughout the day having fun with their peers. In addition to the training and the English classes, there are many games organized to be performed during the free hours such as theme nights (Disk, casino, etc. ), olympics,

Practice of other sports like swimming, soccer, etc. Friday is one of the days where the kids will have the most fun, as it is the day of the competitions. There are also artistic activities so that the kids can cultivate the mind and body during their stay at the camp.

Excursions

The children who stay more than a week at camp will have the opportunity to do two excursions during the weekend. These excursions are scheduled so that the children can unwind and relax from the busy activity that they have from Monday to Friday. All tours are perfectly organized by the camp staff that is responsible for organizing and supervising all the children.

  • One of the days they will do a small outing to a nice nearby field so that they can enjoy a fun picnic.
  • Another day they will take a trip to any attraction in the area.

The camp features spacious facilities. Both the residence and dining area are located here, therefore the children only will have to leave the camp for the weekend excursions.

In addition to its excellent 9-hole golf course (par 3), the camp is equipped with other areas where the children have fun outside of their class schedule, such as the swimming pool or large open air grass areas, break rooms with television, ping pong tables and many more games so that the kids can get to know each other better and make new friends.

Accommodation

The children stay in single or shared rooms. The shared rooms have from 3 to 6 beds or 8 to 10. Normally the shared ones are chosen since sleeping alongside other peers is the essence of living at a summer camp. The groups are made up with students of similar ages and friends who are going to the camp are grouped together.

Meals

There are 3 meals a day at the dining room of the camp. When the kids go on excursions outside the camp, food to-go is prepared for them.

For breakfast there is a wide range of products to choose from (toast, cereal, yogurt, typical English breakfast, etc.) and for both lunch and dinner hot dishes will be served and a menu option for vegetarians.

If your child needs to follow a specific diet or is intolerant to any food, please let us know as far in advance as possible to enable us to adapt to your needs.

Supervisors

The team of camp monitors is formed by a group of professionals experienced in dealing with children. During the camp the monitors live at the facilities and are available 24 hours a day for whatever the children may need. They are responsible for monitoring, caring for them and taking them out on excursions. They also organize games and other activities to ensure that the kids continue to have fun in their free time.

Location

The Seaford camp is located in West Sussex, only one hour away from the Gatwick and Heathrow airports. This camp is located in a specific place, very close to a hospital and a health center to quickly tend to any emergency that might arise.

    Transfer Service:

    There are two types of transfer services available that we´ll detail for you below:

  • Standard transfer service: the camp offers an optional transfer service for participants who request it from the nearest airport to the residence (or vice versa). Check with Ertheo for schedules and prices for this service.
  • Special transfer with additional unaccompanied minor service: participants who fly to camp alone and have contracted the unaccompanied minor service with their airline must hire this special transfer with accompaniment so that the child isn´t left alone in the airport.
