Manchester United is a team which inspires both young and old football enthusiasts in England and the rest of the world.
In this camp, your child could become a Red Devil for a few weeks and get to know the secrets of this style of play, while improving their English and enjoying a unique experience with campmates of different nationalities.
Manchester United Soccer Schools have two camps in England. One in London (Bradfield College) and another in the town of Rugby (Rugby School), only 40 minutes from Birmingham.

The football and English camp with Manchester United Soccer Schools is an experience that students will remember for their entire life. It is truly unforgettable and unique. Many of our students have attended the camp before as they had such a fantastic experience the first time. The Manchester United Soccer Schools camp takes place during the months of July and August, and is located in two different areas: one camp near London and the other near Manchester. These courses last for 2 weeks, during which the youths will receive the best education, all the help and attention they need, and will be able to live the philosophy of Manchester United Soccer Schools, which proclaims solidarity, friendship, fair play and healthy competition.
The football training takes place in the mornings, and the English classes are timetabled in the afternoon and follow a wonderful curriculum created by the University of Oxford. As well as this the students will be able to enjoy a wide variety of other activities.
The Manchester United Soccer Schools camp is an ideal camp for those wanting to follow in the footsteps of the players of Manchester Untied, using the sporting spirit of the club.
The club boasts ample experience in courses and camp of a high quality and standard. The care of the participants is one aspect which is not taken lightly, and the students can guarantee they will have a fun, motivated, and active stay whilst being in a secure and caring environment.

Manchester United Soccer Schools Training
In this camp, the youngsters will carry out 18 hours of training per week. They will be divided into three groups of similiar ages. The first group is for 8 to 11 year olds, another for 12 to 14 year olds and another for those aged between 15 and 17.
In these sessions they learn and practise all the techniques, tactics and other physical and mental abilities needed to play football. They improve their game while having fun playing their favourite sport in a healthy and lively environment. It doesn't matter what level your child has, the trainers will be in charge of developing their abilities to the maximum.
The Training
The training sessions are lead by carefully selected professionals that have been trained in the Manchester United Soccer Schools. They are perfectly qualified and have experience in dealing with children. They will be in charge of getting the best out of each child and ensuring that they perfect both the way they move on the pitch as well as their vision of the game. They will practise shooting, passing, marking, set pieces and other activities, just as they do in the professional teams.
As well as training sessions, various tournaments will be held so that the youngsters can put into practise what they have learnt.
The Coaches
All trainers have a certified qualification from UEFA and meet all the requirements of Manchester United Soccer Schools. The staff are accredited and have experience in dealing with children.
The Club
Manchester United is one of the most famous clubs in the world; it is estimated that they have around 659 million followers all over the planet. With so many fans it is no wonder that their stadium, Old Trafford, is always full of supporters, young and old, that come to cheer on their team in each match.
Players such as Eric Cantoná and David Beckam have played for this club. Thanks to their most emblematic coach, Alex Ferguson, in charge of the team from 1986 until May 2013, they have achieved an excellent track record with 20 league titles and 7 international tournaments, among them 3 European Cups, one Intercontinental Cup and a European Super Cup.
Man Utd Soccer Schools English Lessons
The children will take a total of 12.5 hours of English classes per week. The English program guarantees total immersion in the language. All training sessions, conferences and activities will be carried out in English.
All camp staff, from the supervisors to the coaches, will communicate with the youngsters in English. Additionally, owing to the diversity of the camp participants' nationalities, in many occasions, the children will have to use English amongst themslves to be able to communicate.
The Teachers
The teachers are all accredited in the teaching of English as a foreign language, and also have experience in teaching children.
The English language Courses
CMT Learning is in charge of directing the English classes. This company is accredited by the Britsh Council, which certifies the excellent quality of its language teaching methods.
In the classes, teachers use content from the University of Oxford and focus on grammar, vocabulary and, above all, conversation. The football theme will be present in all classes so that the learning favours the interests of the children.
Upon arrival, children will take a language level test to assign them to the correct group. Each group will have no more than 16 children, to maximise learning potential and ensure individual attention.
The children's English level does not matter- classes are aimed at all levels: from basic to advanced.
Upon finishing the camp, the children will be able to take home the books used in class so that they can show their parents what they have worked on.

In the soccer camps, the youngsters will never feel bored- not even for a minute. In addition to the training sessions and English classes they will have each day, the children will go on several excursions per week, as well as take part in recreational activities inside the camp.
Manchester United Soccer Schools have two different camps located in different parts of England, but the children from both camps go on the same excursions (depending on their age). In total, they will go on 3 full-day excursions:
Bradfield and Rugby School camp Excursions:
- Visit to Old Trafford, including the Stadium Museum and the Megastore
- Visit to London (only for children between 12 and 17 years of age)
- Visit to Chessington World of Adventures, one of the best theme parks in the United Kingdom (only for children aged between 8 and 11)
- Visit to Wembley stadium, including a guided tour of the stadium

Man Utd Soccer Schools Accommodation
The youngsters stay in the residence halls within the camp facilities.
What are the rooms like?
- The Bradfield College student residence has rooms with either two or three beds, with private or shared bathrooms.
- The rooms belonging to Rugby School are either individual or double with shared bathrooms.
In the shared rooms, the camp will try to group children of similar ages. In the case that several friends attend the camp together, the camp will also attempt to group them.
Meals
The camp offers full board, that is to say, breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served daily, as well as a small snack in the afternoon.
The menus are designed to nourish the children and are healthy and balanced. However, if your child follows a special diet, is allergic or intolerant to any type of food, this should be indicated beforehand to allow the camp to be able to adapt to their requirements.
Supervisors
The children are supervised at all times. Each group of children will be assigned a supervisor who will be there to assist them with whatever they may need outside of the class timetable. The supervisors are perfectly trained to ensure the wellbeing of the children 24 hours a day. The minors are not permitted to leave the camp without supervision.

If you want to rest assured that you can recover your money in the event that your child is unable to attend the camp because of unforeseen circumstances - our cancellation insurance policy may be of interest to you. More information here

Transfer service
This is an optional service offered by the camp, in which a supervisor is in charge of collecting the children from the airport upon arrival and bringing them to the camp (and vice versa on the way back). Below are the prices, destinations and available times:
Bradfield College
- Heathrow airport: 96€ (one-way), 195€ (return)
- Gatwick airport: 120€ (idone-waya), 240€ (return)
Rugby School
- Heathrow airport: 96€ (one-way), 195€ (return)
- Birmingham airport: 85€ (one-way), 170€ (return)
*Arrivals should be between 7am and 7pm. Departures should be between 10am and 7pm.
Insurance policies
- Camp cancellation or interruption insurance
If you want to rest assured that you can recover your money in case your child is unable to attend the camp or has to interrupt their stay in said camp because of unforeseen circumstances, taking out our cancellation insurance policy may well be of interest. More information here

Booking
To book a place on one of the Manchester United Soccer Schools, a deposit corresponding to 50% of the total amount must be paid. The remainder must be paid before May 31st.
More useful Information
The Manchester United Soccer Schools organisation asks the parents to bear in mind the unpredictable weather of the British Isles and provide their children with all types of clothing for all weather conditions.
They also remind parents that a group of physiotherapists will be available to attend to the pupils, although they ask that the students use their shinpads to minimise the impact of any injuries.
Steps to make a reservation for the camp
- Step 1: Make a payment of 50% of the total cost of the program. (If you reserve after May 31st, you must pay 100% of the cost of the program to reserve.)
- Step 2: Turn in the required documents duly completed.
Once you have completed steps 1 and 2, we’ll send you a confirmation of your reservation.
Once you have received the confirmation, you can buy your transportation tickets. If you have reserved the transfer service, be sure to send us an email regarding the details of your trip so we can successfully transport you to the camp.

The training was very full, the coaches were responsible and knowledgeable about football, doing a good job within the training sessions as well as outside. The facilities were comfortable and cozy.
I enjoyed these two weeks, both playing football and learning English. I’ve improved my ability in both aspects. The monitors were incredible, always available and happy to help out in any way. The activities were right for this camp, with excursions to different famous sports grounds in England.
